Apply for a Study Permit

In order to study in Canada, in most cases, international students will need to obtain a Canadian study permit for the duration of your stay. Validity of your study permit usually equals to the length of your program.
For example, if you choose to study a diploma program which is two years, then your study permit will be valid for two years. If you choose to study a bachelor’s program that can be four years, you will normally be granted a four-year study permit.
Before you apply for a study permit, you must get accepted into one of Canadian Designated Learning Institutes. Then you may proceed to apply for a study permit. You must submit all mandatory documents as well as other supporting documents in your application.
